Best Hat ever for yard work !

This is my favorite hat. I have one for working in yard as it gets quite dirty over time. I have another for wearing out and about which stays nice and clean. Itfits my head perfectly. For very windy day, there is a cord and clip on the end which can attach to you clothing in case the wind blows it off of your head. There is a zippered pouch on the inside of back flap. You can store keys or coins or other small items there for safe keeping. No body is going to search your hat. The flap on the back completely protects the back of your neck and ears from the sun. It has a long bill in fron to give you good shade. The fabric is treated with 55 sunblock to help stop UV from reaching your skin. You can find this hat in a range of colors. Mine is Stone which I like the best. Great expedition hat, great for the beach, or biking, or working in the yard. Keeps you cool. Just the greatest sun hat made. I have worn out two of these hats. Mind you it took 10-12 years for each one. I wear mine almost daily and it took that long to wear them out. No negatives, 5 stars, highly recommended!

my husband uses this cap when he goes out on the boat, mowing when he's working on the yard it helps protect his scalp, his face and neck. He wouldn't wear anything but this type of cap.

I walk in a park on a hill and wanted something to protect my neck and ears from sunburn and help block UV. This one works great, it is actually my second purchase of this hat. I had tried a couple of other hats and they were problematic. They all had a nylon neck flap. The main problem I experienced is that nylon alone is to light so even a mild breeze caused it to blow in the wind. Sounds minor but the movement and bouncing around on the back of your neck was annoying and I found myself always trying to push it down. Also a couple were just too short. This hat is 70/30 cotton/nylon and it has a enough weight that it hangs down instead of flapping in the breeze but is still not to heavy. It's also big enough to block the sun.I wear it daily at the park during the summer and think most would be pleased with the hat if this is the style you're looking for. The flap works well as mentioned. It also washes well. I toss it in my washer on regular cycle with hot water and have not had any problems with it coming out misshaped. I don't put it in the dryer but just put it back in my car and it dries naturally. The bill inside is plastic so it does keep its shape and is strong enough that overtime even my first one still doesn't feel flimsy and it has been through a lot of washings.I would definitely recommend this cap.

It's very comfortable on my large head, and I love how it really screens out the sun better than any other hat I've had. I don't know if the fabric will remain so comfortable over time, but right now it is prefect.

I'm in the sun a LOT and needed sun protection. This product is exactly what I was looking for. Big visor helps shade the face and flap covers both ears and all of your neck. High UV rating yet feels comfortable and cool to wear. Love it!
