My firepit has a tube welded to inner wall. The rod slipped right into it. I started a fire under it on the first day to burn the paint off. A hand torch would have worked, but too time consuming. I wire-brushed the grill surface and sprayed it with olive oil to season the grate. I've cooked steaks, burgers, Hot dogs; roasted corn, potatos and toasted buns and it been flawless.

Used this once. Post went in really easy and it was easy to swing back and forth over the fire. Obviously it gets hot so needed to use some wood to push it back and forth. Great product for a great price.

This is perfect for grilling oysters on the fire pit.

Arrives and Works just as advertised. very heavy and sturdy. Simply needs a good strong hammer - which I now keep in the Adjust a grill tote bag!We have NO idea what that 2nd turn handle is for (the one on the top, not the back).Anyone?

We cooked Brats and hot dogs over a bonfire with our great nieces and nephews. the grill worked well. I did have to make a stand to put the post in due to the ground being frozen and the post ideally should be a few inches longer. The grill seems to be rugged.

This was given as a gift. He has not used it yet, but he was extremely pleased with the gift. I cannot wait until he cooks me something on it!

Very nice I can not build this for the price only down side is the short pole to stake in the ground, but I had a long 5/8 pole to use thumbs up

This is the perfect grill to cook over an open fire. Very large - sturdy - adjustable - swings out and away from the fire while you flip the food ( which is good cause it is hot)We had 14 people over - built a nice fire pit on the ground in a ring in our backyard and grilled 3 dozen oysters on the half shell with garlic butter and cheese at a time and ate them on some small french bread slices.After the oysters, we cooked 16 nice size steak filets all at the same time and still had room for more.We used the - Aoocan Marshmallow Roasting Sticks Set of 12 Extend 45 Smores Sticks for Fire Pit Safe Stainless Telescoping Forks Hot Dog, Campfire, Camping - Multicolor - the big and little kids loved them and used them to do marshmallows and the beer drinkers Really Enjoyed putting some steak strips or shrimp on the sticks and grilling them right over an open fire. It is not just a grill you can put a nice pot of beans or gumbo and swing it away from the fire a bit and just let it slow cook all day. or grill or fry fish or whatever on the grill swing it away from the fire a bit and just let it slow cook all day. The main thing is it adjusts to any height and swings away from the fire when needed.The grill folds up and is easy to put away. THIS IS JUST PURE FAMILY FUN and only limited by wood and your imagination. Now we are planning a family camping trip with this grill I can bring the kitchen with me anywhere. I bought two if I had known it was so big I may have just bought one.... but now I have more options.

It is perfect for camping but after two days of light grilling it burned out and I threw it into garbage so very disappointed with quality
