Effective - Worked well in the Arctic Circle (Tromso, Norway) while on speed boats during Whale watching. Wore on boat that was moving at a pretty fast clip (~ 25+ mph) in the open air with below freezing temps. NOTE - you will have some condensation form under it where your mouth / nose are -- but that is going to happen with all items at this price point.

Great for that very cold weather. Cover your throat also and up to your nose. Just wish it was more thicker but is been working good at minus temperatures.

It's a little short, if it were about 2" taller, it would have been perfect allowing me to tuck into/under jacket collar, but still does the job.

This product keeps my neck super warm during the cold. It works so well that I begin to sweat if I'm moving a lot or working intensely. On that note, I do wish it had better moisture wicking properties. I have found that it can be positioned in three different ways for a desired warming effect. A neck gaitor as advertised, a half head/ear covering hood, and a nose and ear covering scarf. It has so far held up well to machine washes using liquid cheer detergent in warm water.

These are perfect when the windchill is -25 (yes, 25 below zero here this morning). I like the "double wall" tight fleece material. My only beef is the fit. I wish it was about one more inch larger in diameter and maybe another two inches longer. It's a good value for the price though.

This is a nice soft neck gaitor which provides extra warmth when needed or if you don't want to wear a scarf.

gave me the warmth and protection that i required. it was comfortable but slightly too large for my face. the edges curled or didn't hold the position i put it in all the time. i needed this product and since it was no longer ski season where i live , i couldn't find it in the stores , so this purchase was a good one for me.

Just ran slightly large for my small neck. It did keep me warm as the ski temperatures were pretty moderate when I used the Gaitor.
