Mission: To deliver quality, compassionate primary health care - every patient, every time - in response to the needs of our communities.

Results: Because we believe that access to quality medical care is fundamental to the overall health of the community, we provide approximately $4.5 million annually in discounted and free medical/ dental care, including drug prescriptions for patients who cannot afford to pay. Our commitment to accessible and affordable healthcare has evolved during the previous four decades and we remain dedicated to expanding services, adding facilities, and investing in collaborative partnerships to ensure adequate services for all.

Target demographics: We serve residents across North Carolina.

Direct beneficiaries per year: In 2018, we served a total of 17,370 patients: 1,223 were persons experiencing homelessness, 11,811 persons were in/ near public housing, and 308 were homeless veterans. We also provided 40,644 medical, 3,943 dental, 2,606 mental health, 656 substance abuse, and 116 enabling encounters. Other professional services, including advisory dietician services from Registered Dieticians, totaled 1,472.
