It really depends on your injury. I tried this without talking to my doc thinking it would help me sleep better and it made my broken rib hurt more. Rib injuries are more sensitive than legs and arms. Check w your doctor first.

A great product, I wish it was wider. Being a bit out of shape makes this want to roll over on itself. Still helps immensely and does the job it's designed for

Great product. Broke 12 ribs in 2012 and have had years of pain with them having not healed properly. Four of the twelve were broken in three or more places resulting in “floater ribs” which are too painful to describe with words safe for a review. I have had three intercostal nerve blocks with no success in relieving the pain. Having worn this brace for two days now, not consecutively, I can honestly say that my pain level has gone from an easy 13 out of 10, to a 4 out of 10. I recommend asking your doctor, and not a nurse, but my doctor said he saw no issue with it if it helped.

I was having trouble with the compression binder I got from underworks following my gynecomastia surgery being too tight fresh out of PACU, and the 6-inch ace bandages I had been using didn't do well after a couple of washes, so I figured I would give this a try. Works exactly as I wanted, and I don't have to have assistance to put it on like the ace wraps.The only downside is because I am using it over surgical scars, it's a bit rough, but that is an easy fix by putting a pillowcase between it and my skin.
