OK, I didn't have xrays. It is possible the ribs were only bruised, but the rib belt did diminish the discomfort with breathing and movement. It was a bit hot to wear and I only used it for 4-5 days, but it is on hand for the next fall, which is inevitable at my age. Easy to use. Better in cool/hot weather. Not expensive but useful.

My husband fractured a rib and this helped keep the area compressed enough to help with pain and movement

I can't give it the glowing reports on pain relief but it's easy to put on and the best part it stays put.

Does the job. I cracked a rib high in the chest area. This wrap could be a little wider as it tends to roll over. That's why I didn't give a 5star.

In the beginning this worked well to prevent pain while moving. Did not wear it for more than 30 min or so since enough pressure to take the pain away was too much.Then. As I got to 4 weeks post injury I used the band to start exercising. I could bench press light weights using this to hold the chest wall in a stabilized position. 10 days later I can lift without support.Used properly these work.

I'm an average guy. I stretched this thing around like they show and it nearly crushed my ribs. I had to loosen it up aaalll the way to the end and it was still too tight. I like the thickness and it stays up just fine, but this was made for boys, not men. the stretch on this is very strong. this means that the 24 is a light pressure and the 60 stretch is extra strong. all I needed was a medium to light pressure, but I do not have a 24 chest.

The rib brace works great. I'm 6 ft. 260 lbs. 64 years old. I have 49 inch chest according to the instructions. The regular mens size goes up to 52 inches. I could have used the larger size, but this fits good. I have about 2-3 inches overlap. I recommend this product. Arrived early too!
