I bought this rib band to help with 2 broken ribs and it works great, I am 205 pounds with a very thick chest so after speaking with the company I ordered the standard male size which worked well. The band had about 8 inch overlap after putting it on at the compression level that I wanted so after 48 hours I was able to loosen it off to give me comfort, so if you have a problem with ribs and need compression then buy this and I think it will give you the relief you need...Merry Christmas to all and God bless

I had a procedure and needed this to tighten the rib area. This was a life saver. It has a very strong hold. I washed it a few times and it held up.

I have a high back rib that is bruised or broken. My chest is 48 and the standard size barely gets around. And it is painful to stretch it to get it to attach. That size might work fine for lower rib injuries at stomach height, but high back injuries around the chest need the plus size, which I just received today. It is much better. The wrap is light enough to apply easily and long enough to attach without a huge effort. And it does help with abating the pain and does not restrict my breathing excessively with the plus size. Recommended with these caveats.

I have used this to help heal bruised ribs and to just give me some abdominal support when I am shoveling gravel or any heavy labor work. At 72 I can use the added muscle (or lack of) support to keep from having a hernia or rupture develop or just to relieve some aching muscles or ribs. This allows me to place where I need it and it does the job. PS I didn't mean it will help in heavy power weightlifting either. Just regular work.

After a fall and a possible fractured rib my husband was in lots of pain for a week before I ordered this wrap. It helped by holding his rib in place so he could move without so much pain. It stays in place and is very easy for him to put on.

It did exactly what it was supposed to do. So did it completely remove pain or be completely comfortable, no. It was simply to hold ribs from shifting too much after injury, which it did well.

I needed something to hold gauze in place over a large abrasion where I scraped my side and provide support for a fractured rib. This works really well. The women's edition is thoughtfully designed, with contours for 'the girls' and smooth finished edges with no pokey velcro! If you have the misfortune of a broken rib, I highly recommend this product.
