Perfect for my son's Halloween costume and worked great as a backpack during school on Halloween. Everyone, even the bus driver, was raving about the full ensemble. We also used it as his candy bag for trick or treating, the top goes all the way through but has a sewn in cover, I tied a ribbon around it and cinched it open so candy could be put into the main area of the bag. This bag is a lot bigger than expected, an Adult could use it just fine, and seems decently made which helped ease the feeling of dropping so much money on a bag for Halloween.

I read previous reviews which is why I decided to purchase this item. It really is sturdy fabric with sewn on patches. This is well constructed and should last longer than most backpacks at the local department stores.

I bought this for my 27 year old son-in-law who had received one wore it out!! He was very excited to get another one!! He lugs all his computer gear in it!!

It’s a nice backpack and it’s big which is a good thing, but a few weeks after the strap broke. I’d recommend this backpack for an astronaut costume but not for high school, and college.

Awesome bag bought it for my 7year old as a backpack for school. The only issue is there is a flap that is in the way if you want to access everything from the top. Simple fix just cut the flap out, if you don’t mind. They should have put a zipper on that inside flap. The main area of the bag is accessible from the front of the pack a smaller opening harder for a child to fit in their school folder or library books. I’m sure the second grade teacher is going to wait for your child to stowe all of their stuff. Additionally mine came with a few scuff marks the NASA logo and the bottom of the bag. update 1: the packaging does state this bag is for dress up. In other words this is for playing not for school.

Great purchase! My son looked professional and handsome. Quality was better than I expected. He received so many compliments on halloween. The bag can be used everyday. He use it for school sometimes.

The back pack works well to store the suit, gloves and boots, but if you've got the upscale helmet with sound, you'll find it's just a bit to big for the zippered opening in the bottom of the back pack. It still fits, but it is a bot of a geometry problem to get it in and out. That lack of coordination to accommodate both helmets they sell is why it gets a 4. That aside, my 11 year old loves it.
