This was a million dollar solution for less than $30. I had a sump grinder pump that lifted waste water from our basement up to the street sewer connection, which made a huge loud clunk evertime anybody dropped the kids off at the pool (aka...took a poop). We refused to let our kids use the basement toilet in the middle of the night because it would wake everybody up due to the loud clunk. Now after installing this beauty...flush it and silence. The plumber was amazed and ordered several for his business. Made both of us believers.

I changed out the check valve that came with our house 30 years ago. When the sump pump turns off their is nothing but quiet. It only took me around 15 minutes to make the change.

This should be a normal accessory included with all pumps. Great valve, quiet, easy to install. Build quality seems fine! No more pump valve slamming noise. You will not regret this upgrade.

We couldn't stand the old one slamming every time the pump went off. We could hear it through the entire house. Pump spy is quiet. No noise whatsoever. Even the plumber was impressed.

As all the reviews before, so much quieter pump cycle! Just installed, we will see about longevity, using this with a 1/2HP sewage pump.

Great product easy to install I'm blown away hope it lasts. No more slamming when the sewage ejection pump cuts off . Make sure you unplug your pump before you do the install lol

Very easy install and it functions like a dream! We have a sump pump practically below our headboard and we actually have some groundwater to move this year. I had forgotten how noisy our sump was. I got on YouTube and searched for ways to quiet it down and this product seemed like the answer to our prayers. It's been installed and working beautifully for about a week now. I have zero complaints.

The selling point for this was the fact that it was clear so I can tell when / if the check valve fails. This also seems to be a relatively quiet check valve. Bonus that upon opening it I found out it is made in the USA and in my home state of Michigan!
