This worked great for my model 11. I did have to transfer the mantle to the old frame. This frame did not fit a model 11. But it works great!

These are the correct mantles for an Aladdin model 23 lamp but they are more expensive than the going price. When I can find these locally, they cost about 25 less.

As with all mantles a light touch is required when lighting the lamp, the mantle add lots of light to the lamp

They came in perfect shape (and that's important as they are fragile). I use them a lot because the power goes out frequently here in Maine.

I really needed a new mantle for my hand me down Aladdin 23 Brass Lamp. This item (Aladdin R-150 Mantle) was new in the box . All metal parts were clean and shiny with no signs of age or rust that would be found if stored for long periods in damp locations etc. In other words, looked like it was made yesterday. The initial coating was clean and evenly distributed and the initial burn off was quick, clean and left a well formed ash mantle. Maybe not equivalent to a 60w as the older thorium/Cerium coated mantles of old, but these burn very bright and won't leave you glowing in the dark ;-).All I need now is to get the wick trimmed evenly so I can really crank it up

Was a little concerned as saw a few 1 star ratings when purchased this mantle but need one right a way and this seller looked like they delivered quickly. Unboxed and installed on lamp base, was a little concerned at first as the mantle looked like it had some holes in it. Though I would give it a try as was the only on I had on hand, to my surprise when it was lighted all the holes disappeared and looks, worked great when installed on the lamp.
