Mission: The alexander graham bell association works globally to ensure that people who are deaf and hard of hearing can hear and talk. We achieve our mission by empowering parents, training professionals and supporting people with hearing loss.

Programs: Communications and publications-to ensure that information reaches people with hearing loss, their families and the professionals who serve them, ag bell provided the most up-to-date information and well-respected publications on listening and spoken language. Ag bell's website is the best-known, internationally recognized resource providing information in english and spanish. Ag bell also published its quarterly award-winning magazine, volta voices, and other reliable brochures, books and materials regarding listening and spoken language, and made extensive use of social media to raise awareness that children who are deaf can learn to hear and talk.

financial aid - ag bell provided financial assistance to families of children with moderate to severe/profound hearing loss to assist with equipment, therapy, learning tools, specialized programming, private school, and college education.

education and training -ag bell offers a research symposium that delivers training and information on the latest research as well as up-to-date training and resources on best practices in listening and spoken language. In 2017, the research symposium was held in arlington, virginia.
