Product name: AliMed 510391 Robinson Forearm Based Radial Nerve Splint
Robinson Forearm Based Radial Nerve Splint helps the patient who has loss of digit extension and wrist extension. This splint has the same InRigger as the hand-based radial nerve splint, but it also supports the wrist to eliminate functional loss.
Streamlined, form-fitting design. A pocket inside each forearm based radial nerve splint glove contains an orthotic positioner, the InRigger . The Robinson Forearm Based Radial Nerve Splint features five spring-loaded lifts, one for each finger, one for the thumb.
The new loop spring design distributes force on the internal leather spring pocket. The result is longer life, where finger flexion is frequent and through the full range of motion. Springs increase restoring force on the flexed finger, as suggested by many therapists.

"... Our patient has no active finger extension and very weak wristextension. He has used the Robinson Radial Nerve Splint for about onemonth now, and he loves it! It enables him to use his right hand as astabilizer with functional activities. It allows him to maintain wristextension. Since he has finger flexion, he is able to grasp objects. Theextensor springs allow him to release. The glove doesn't give him"normal" use of his hand by any means, but it certainly allows him touse it to a greater degree than he could without it.
