Just needed an easy to use reader. This allowed me to track status of my Catalyst Monitors and other smog monitors to make sure they went to OK from Incomplete so that I could be sure car was smog ready before bringing in. Car passed Smog Test right after.

Used it on a 2010 Ford fusion. Code showed coil number three needed to be replaced. My 18 year old daughter helped change the coil and she was back on the road.

I bought this because my car was acting funny and before I could take it in the shop the mechanics were already telling me so many things could be wrong and what they want to replace. I got it next day in the mail and it shows you exactly what's wrong. Fortunately no codes came back and I just needed to change my oil and top off my fluids.

It works as expected. I use it just to pull codes and clear the cel light , haven't tried any of the live data stuff. But works for my needs
