Bought this to save the trips and sales pitches from the auto stores, so far already paying off! Easy to use and read, would absolutely recommend to someone who has found themselves making multiple trips to find out what the codes on their vehicles mean.

I paid only $12 for mine on a lightening deal. I have a 02 Chevy Blazer, a 07 F350 and an 03 F150. This works for all 3 vehicles and it is SO fast. I've never used one before and I hooked it up and immediately asked me on the screen to which option I wanted, whether to read current codes or past codes. I toggled down to current and gave me exactly what I needed. Its super easy to use, easy to clear codes and easy to find your vehicles information. This is the coolest little thing I've come across!

I have two older cars. A 1999 Ford and a 2004 Chrysler. Both with check engine lights. This diagnosed both issues. One was a misfire on a six cylinder truck, one with a small emission leaks.I was able to reset the codes and this will allow me to trouble shoot the issue prior to taking it to a mechanic. This is a great buy for those that have the need.

The device was incredibly easy to use. It gives you a code that you can look up on the internet and an abbreviated description of the problem. Most of the time I didn't understand the abbreviation, but it was helpful when googling the problem.

Have had this scanner since December of 2018 and all I can say is it has helped me with scanning any engine codes on multiple vehicles! 100 worth the money for a cheap scanner, it works just as good as the expensive ones!

I never used one of these devices before and was very surprised at how easy it was to use. Saved myself over $100. By not having to take it to the shop. Turned out to be minor fix that I was able to do myself. Best of all, it was on sale.

Very easy to use. We were able to quickly diagnose two (and immediately fix one) check engine issues on my sister's vehicle. The reader did not require any set up, just plug it in to the data port and wait for it to get diagnostics. You get a code and also a description of what the code means, so it's much more understandable than the cryptic error codes a PC gives out. I only had trouble clearing the codes because I did not read the directions closely. When clearing, just put the key in and turn it once but do not start the car. Have not tried the real-time data collection. I really like this reader, and at this price it seems like something every vehicle owner could have on hand.
