I've used these for snowboarding for about 8-9 sessions as a new rider trying to push my limits. They are pretty comfortable, and good protection for the legs and tail bone.

I love the extra protection these provide for a day on the slopes. I'm fairly new to snowboarding myself and these shorts help a lot for pain of the falls. They also add ease of mind while out there. A little bit of padding goes a long ways. They have been a lifesaver for me. I truly love this product.

I wear them every time I skateboard (several times a week) and wash them after (machine air dry). No more nasty hip bruises, and they've probably saved me from some nasty tail bone injuries. Despite being washed 50 times, they've held up very well.

These fit great.the hip pads are great protection.They fit easily under my oakley ski pants and i barely notice them after they are on which i like.The tailbone pad should be thicker. It doesn't feel like i have any pad at all when i fall backward (and i fall pretty well).

These negative reviews mentioning the holes are hilariousthe holes are how you remove the pads to wash the dang things, the material is very elastic just stretch the hole to pull out the pad. The shorts don't improve my silhouette, but they fit comfortably under my clothes and are hardly noticeable if i wear a jacket. I find myself wearing them pretty high to get the pads where I want. I haven't taken a fall yet but I'm reasonably confident in the protection these offer. I'm wearing them skateboarding.
