More like heavy-duty razors but not really razor sharp right out of the package. You can get them sharper though by running them across a piece of leather or a strop, preferrrably. Their edge angle (included) is roughly 25 which is decent for a pocket knife but not for something you'd normally call a razor. Straightening the edge produces considerably better results, enough to pass a paper test. Otherwise, they fail it pretty badly due to warped edges, which are a by-product of mass production anyways. I'd buy a strop if I wanted to use these and I were you. I already owned one at the time I bought these so I didn't have to wait. If you are using them for heavier things I'd probably just forgo the strop though cause the edge will warp eventually from overpressure. But they can be good used for all around tasks just don't try to shave with them, obviously.

That's it, awesome. Buy them, and then start throwing them out when they dull. Too much of my life was spent using dull blades to 'save money'. At 1 cent each, they get tossed like hot cakes when slightly dull and my blade stays sharp throughout the job. Life changing!
