Mission: To reach out to incarcerated men and women in local jails & prisons to share the love of christ & help them learn how to live productive, successful christian lives upon return to the community & to reduce the recidivism rate from an average of 70% to under 10% by providing a successful transition.

Programs: Aftercare program - through a network of over 229 volunteers, asm provides support and assistance to encourage, equip and counsel ex-offenders in their successful reintegration into the community. This includes clothing, food, personal necessities, transportation, job interview training, job search assistance and practical life skills training.

safe housing - a key element in a successful reintegration is a safe, drug-free, supervised environment (discipleship training center apartments) where christian life skills are taught and encouraged. Counseling, substance abuse programs and bible studies are conducted weekly by dedicated volunteers.

mentorship program - asm partners with local churches to train and equip mentors to work with the ex-offender both inside and outside the prison to develop a workable transition plan. The mentors come along side the ex-offender to provide sound counsel in critical life decisions and to teach and be an example on how to live a christ centered life outside the prison walls. There are over 70 mentors working with men and women in our program.
