Used these for my most recent strat wiring harness. They took all the abuse from my poor soldering skills and are no worse for the wear. I am deeply impressed with the stoutness and quality of these pots. Also these are close to the same price for 4 as you would pay for 2, so it's nice to have a few extras In case one of my other guitars needs new ones.

Someone already replaced the pickups in my guitar with P-90s but they left the original junky electronics. These pots, plus a big filter cap, made for a very nice upgrade. I did have to drill out my metric guitar holes to imperial size but it was very worth it as there are not many quality metric pots available anyways.

Crappy quality. Two broke and the other two the pots shaft have play vertically. Better you buy from Guitar Center and the price is almost the same with better quality pots.

I see a lot of comlaints from people that very obviously have no idea what they are doing.CTS are top quality, and the only ones I buy whenever possible.TAOT is just about the only seller I buy from. You gotta know what you are ordering, and if you order wrong, of break it putting a knob on, that is your fault. Not the seller's fault. There are metric knobs. There are larger, standardized knobs. Some have fine splines. Some have fewer splines. Some knobs require a solid shaft because they have a set screw. If you had someone else install these, and they failed, that is not this seller's fault.I fix guitars all the time, and have reworked so many butcher jobs, I lost count. If you don't know what you are doing, let a pro do the job.

Unless the customer provides something else, CTS is all we use in our shop. Always dependable for even rotation and perfect solder points.

Mainly not happy with the length as you can see from the picture i had to use 1 lock washer and 3 regular washers for knob to sit correctly on the pickguard. Had it been offered on 1/4 length i think it would have fit perfectly. I'll probably add washers or an extra nut on the bottom.

A little longer than a true “Short” shaft but still very good quality. You may have to add an extra nut on the shaft for a Fender type guitar (Strat, Tele, Jaguar, Jazzmaster, etc.).

I checked each of these and they measured with 5K of each other - three within 3K total. They are a bit stiff, tight to turn, but hopefully they will loosen up over time. Overall very good quality.

I have used these multiple times to upgrade Gibson guitars that had a circuit board control setup. Greatly prefer the sound of traditional wiring.

I bought these as replacements in my epiphone les paul and they worked great! I had to drill the hole bigger to install them but other the that not much work other then soldering. I haven’t had any issues with them and I am definitely thinking about buying more!

I purchased these for a guitar I built from scratch a few years ago. It had cheep JS pots in it, that failed. I found these. They were easy to install, and greatly improved the tone. I did need to ream out the holes a little, and the knobs did not fit on these, but I had some left over from a different guitar that I used. These are US sized shafts, so if you're replacing pots in a foreign made guitar, keep this in mind.

Absolutely great pots with outstanding quality, as long as you don't overheat one during soldering like I did...oops...

I've been using CTS pots for my guitar builds and they are great quality. These actually replaced a set that actually failed due to a loose lug which cased a nasty crackle/scratchy sound. That was my error as I accidentally broke it loose from the base. As I was looking for a replacement, I happened on this and liked the 10 tolerance (meaning how close to 500K it gets to because POTS can vary) and this were actually in a 5 range so they exceeded my expectations. Granted I probably got a REALLY good batch of 4 probably made at the same time off the machine. Even so, if you get one that is in the 10 tolerance range, you still have an excellent POT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY
