These boots/shoes are very well made, look nice, are very comfortable (unless you need a lot of arch support, these are pretty flat), and are a lot tougher and grippier than they look like they should be. They are also nice and light. The only downside I have noticed so far, however, is that my socks always seem to end up with new holes in them after wearing these shoes for a day. I don't know how or why. Maybe the soles require a sacrifice, it's hard to say. I haven't heard them chanting in Latin or setting candles out for any strange rituals, so I can't be certain. Maybe they just really love feet and don't want anything coming between them and those tasty little toes.Anyway, if you don't care about wearing socks, or plan on doing some hiking in wet environments, these will probably be fantastic. If you just found a pair of handmade socks from your dear late grandmother, I would look for something else.
