I'm super happy with the Altama lows. I have a pretty wide foot and the 11.5 wides fit me like a glove (I typically wear 11.5 wide in boots and most sneakers). These are comfortable with and without socks on. I have not yet worn these in wet environs but I trust they'll be great for that, as designed. I am sure this will not ne my last pair of Altama boots.

I wear a 10.5 Wide in most footwear, 11 Regular if called for. This was accurate. I went with the 11 Regular (some sites call it medium, don't know why) and it fit the way I wanted it. With non-thin socks and during the hot summer, the toe box was a little snug. This is my day-to-day wear socks. I would wear a thinner, non abrasive sock in wet conditions or none at all. Grip was excellent on my vehicle's metal pedals (narrowness make for a great driving shoe in a Jeep) and the only slip I got was inside a McDonald's, go figure. Overall construction is on par with the rest of the Altama line so I see these lasting a very long time.

2nd por of this shoe. Use it for water rescue as well a water training. They are like Chuck Taylors flat but surprisingly comfortable for me. Good in the water and drain well, good no slip grip, dry well also. Use with fins and without.

Out the box they feel super comfy, no stiff feeling like you'd normally get with other brands. Honestly have no complaints about these. Let's see how they hold up against the range 7 days a week

I have had these shoes for a year now. I only wear them while boating, fishing and around the house. I like the look and they are very comfortable shoes. The uppers seem very durable and they have good traction in the water and on slick rocks. The only issue is that the outer layer of tread on the left shoe is peeling off. It is not the whole tread just the 1/16th of an inch layer that has the score marks for traction. This is not making the shoes unwearable but is irritating because it is only the left shoe. The tread on the right shoe is almost like new. I understand that these are water shoes and are meant to have soft soles that won't be extremely durable, but it annoys me that only one shoe is breaking down. I had hoped for the price that they would have been a little more durable. Other than the tread these are good shoes.

I wear about an 8.5 in women's with a narrow foot so most men's sized shoes don't fit me right. I ordered these in a size 7 and they fit great. I personally prefer to wear them with socks in the water but they're fine without too. They fit in my fins, drain water out after, but don't dry completely for several hours. Overall, great sole for walking around alot but drain well for in and out of water.

Bought them for work. I was concerned since they seem to be modeled after a converse they would be narrow, so I bought wide. I think the regular “D” width would have worked, but these are still comfortable. Next time I'll probably order D width.

I decided to buy a second pair after being impressed with the comfort and durability of the ones I got 7 mo ago I I usaly go through shoes fast but besides some wear at the ball of the foot they are fine, ice diesel mud alot safer than athletic shoes and they look new with a quick cleaning

As far as military gear goes, these are very comfortable. I wear a 14W, which is what I ordered. The fit is good. No arch support. Rubber insert inside.

Fits as described. Fits great with my adjustable heel fins. No blisters. 10 dives so far on them. Must use XL Jet Fins for them to work as a dive boot being a size 10.

I bought these because the place I'm working now gets 100 of rain a year and I wanted something that would allow me to walk around without destroying my other shoes. So far, an excellent investment. I got the wides and they fit perfectly. I walk 3 to 5 miles a day and haven't had a hot spot or rubbing. Haven't worn them in the surf yet, but that will be soon.

Sound like you are walking around in flippers the way the shoe body crease bends while taking steps. People will wonder what is wrong with your shoes.Also very uncomfortable, crease bends right into my toes on my left foot digging into them and is very irritating. Yikes!

I like these..I use them on a pool deck while coaching and in the gym.. ordered a half size larger and they fit great.

It is not supposed to be water resistant but I did wash them and they droed no issues the sole of the shoe was meant to be taken out after getting wet etc. The wide version is incredibly comfortable. Have not tried it with fins yet but the shoe itself is awesome
