First, he sent her to live in abrothel to try and corrupt her. Saint Agatha'sfaith did not waiver and she was sent backto Quintian for further torture. He thenordered that she be stretched on a rackand have her breasts cut off. Saint Petermiraculously appeared to her afterwardsand restored her breasts. After hearing of herhealing, Quintian had Saint Agatharolled over burning coals until she died.Saint Agatha is recognized today as thepatroness of those who suffer from breastcancer.
