Causes: Technology

Mission: To improve the quality of physics instruction and enhance the appreciation of physics in our culture, to enhance the understanding and appreciation of physics through teaching. Aapt is a professional membership association of scientists, dedicated to enhancing the understanding and appreciation of physics through teaching.

Programs: The association receives funding and grants and cooperative agreements from the national science foundation and other grantor's. These programs provide opportunities for professional growth of teachers, including an online collection of resources to support the physics and astronomy community, new faculty development, and the analysis and investigation of the role of the undergraduate, two-year collage and k-12 physics instruction.
