Mission: Migdal Ohr was established in 1972 by Israel Prize Laureate Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman to ensure that each of Israel's orphaned, abused and neglected children would have a bright future regardless of where they came from. Rabbi Grossman is known around the world for loving every Jew and caring for children who have lost their way and been abandoned by the communities they come from. Today, we serve over 12,000 children every year and raise them to become thriving, successful adults. Migdal Ohr's network of services and programs provide everything from a child's most basic needs - clothing, medical care, family structure, and emotional support - to education, vocational training, mentorship, and more.
Decades later, we remain fervently committed to giving children the support and education they need to overcome socio-economic barriers and realize their full potential. Migdal Ohr is dedicated to strengthening Israel's next generation from the ground up.

American Friends of Migdal Ohr is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1987, and donations are tax-deductible.
