I bought two of these to update our fireplace doors. The bases are little big for our fireplace doors. They hit the frame of the screen. But that's not really the fault of the handles. In another application, they'd be wonderful. I'm going to use them even though they hit the frame for how I'm using them, because I haven't found anything else I like better. If I do find something else, I'll find another use for these, because they are very nice.

We like these handles quite a bit. They are attractive and of very high quality. We especially like the worn through brass look in the finish. THe only reason for not giving them 5 stars is their silly limit of 5 handles per customer. Even if you try to place a second order it will be rejected. We had to place a second order with a different supplier to purchase the remainder of our handles. They must think all kitchens are very small!

The handles look great. However, I do not understand why the order was limited to FIVE handles!! Our new cabinet needed 16 handles.
