It works. I don't see any reason why it should continue to work for many years. Making a well fitted full insert door takes a person a certain skill. I don't think the hinge installation would present any problems to someone with that skill level.

I'm a handyman for a vacation rental. These hinges seem fine but were there is some question as to their durability if two had to be replaced. Thus, 4 stars instead of 5.

These are excellant, well made hinges. Inset doors demand sturdy hinges to fit properly. These hinges are sturdy and easy to adjust. Winner!

Like the look and quality of these hinges but be aware that the price has gone way, way up. I purchased at about $5 a piece just a few months ago, and now they are listed over $13. Was going to purchase more for a laundry room remodel but cannot justify $26 per cabinet door. Will have to wait for the price to come back down.

I used the hinge on an oak tool box. Looks great, nice quality.Took one star away because some of the holes were not counter sunk. I ended up counter sinking one of the holes because the fastener head stuck up enough to prevent the hinge from closing flush.
