Not only does the headset covers the ears with cushions, but it has a micon it too. Which made it convenient for my son to use while recording.

I've used this model headphone with playstation for years. They are well made and sturdy, I'd probably be on first pair if my cats would stop chewing the cords. Sigh. Excellent headset for the price.

Nice quality for the price. Needed an affordable set with great sound and these do just that. Hope they last over time as my other expensive and cheap headphones materials self deteriorate just sitting with little usage, they don't build them like they used to!! Hope these will hold up with the Sony name! So far I've been pleased, just wish the cord was a little bit longer.
