Great glass measuring cups!

My 1-cup measure from Anchor Hocking (Fire King) has lasted me over 30 years. Its markings started to fade only a year ago. So when the spout on my 2-cup measure by a different maker broke, I went back to Anchor Hocking for a long-lasting product. Since I take care of my measuring cups, I expect the new ones to last at least 30 years.For complaints about fading markings: The instructions clearly state not to use abrasives. Dishwasher detergent is abrasive. So is scrubbing hard by hand.For complaints about breakage: These cups are made of tempered glass, which is sturdier than plain glass. Read up on the qualities of tempered glass. Scratches or knocks can lead the glass to collapse into small pebbles, but the pebbles don't have sharp edges.

love the price over Pyrex, easy to read and heavy duty enough for what I use them for.

Good buy. According to review it doesn't hold as good . Time will tell . But as of now I'm happy with my purchase.

These are great measuring cups! They are really durable and a very easy to use and clean!

Always hesitant to order glass as do not know the condition it will come in. The manufacturer makes sure these arrive in excellent condition. Heavy glass. Great product.

No real issues. They are heavy duty cups that have the added bonus of stacking inside one another. The gradient markings are correct, but they stop really short of the top of the cup... It just seems to me that the markings could have continued for another half cup or so as there is plenty of blank space. Don't get me wrong... It's a great set and I'm very satisfied with it.

All in all, satisfied.

The set arrived on time in excellent condition. The cups are easy to read. They nest inside of one another for easy storage.

I only had to tell them which item was damaged in the mail, but they eventually replaced it. All three measuring cups do the job they were meant to do; and, since they are made of glass, they can be recycled when they break.

I like the durability of Anchor Hocking. I've had mine for years. Got these for my daughter. Figured since she's got her own place, time for a set of real measuring cups. The sizes are perfect and it's great the they fit inside each other.
