I only use tinned wire for marine applications and, for the small difference in price, pretty much stick to the Ancor brand. The quality is not only very good but consistent between sizes and purchase dates. I have never seen any sign of corrosion or evidence that the tinning is failing.

It's not quite as flexible as say, NVX or Knukonceptz, but flexible enough. The tinned copper is very tighly wound and of a very high quality copper. The jacket is very sturdy indeed. So much so, not thinking I'll need wire loom to cover it up.

3 years ago I purchased 500' feet in various colors to rewire my fishing boat. I have not had a failure in the wiring since. I just purchased 25' of brown to fix a problem in the clearance lights on my boat trailer, and I am sure it will be as good as my previous purchase. Furthermore, I have found Ancor easy to work, as it comes on a spool, with constantly thick insulation. I am comfortable recommending it for any marine application. I probably should go and order more and just rewire the whole trailer.
