Best wire brand you can buy. It is reputable and used in the Marine industry. I trust it in all my work.

I ordered a 100 foot roll of 8 AWG. Usually Ancor wire is top notch, but this roll (which is re-spooled from a larger roll) got damaged about 18 - 20 feet in. Luckily I had already used almost all the beginning of the roll up to the damaged area and only lost about 18 inches. I unrolled the rest to inspect; all was fine. Since I only lost a little, it wasn't worth making a damage claim.

Paid for 16 Ga got 18 both black and red spools. Didn't realize until I already ran wire and made harnesses and was too late to return.... Stinks to pay the higher price and worse realize you didn't get the thickness of wire you needed.

It's copper, so that's great. Quality jacket. Spool it comes on has a small diameter so it comes off with a fairly strong coil memory. Not a deal breaker, but a larger center would reduce this and still fit on the same size roll. And it's be nice if it was cheaper. But copper isn't cheap these days, so...

Needed some 16 gauge tinned wire for a boat project. I try to stick with Ancor, since they have quality products. 25' mini spool came tightly wrapped and was easy to work through my boat. Tinned wire was easy to work with as always.

I use a lot of marine wire building electrical harnesses for cars and boats. Ancor makes great wire, the tinned copper is much more corrosion resistant than plain copper wire and it's a cinch to solder to.

I am a DIYer and undertook the task of installing new speakers, an amp, a new stereo, LED lights, and a second battery on a 2020 SunTracker pontoon boat. I scoured the internet looking for quality marine-grade wire for all of my connections. Ancor met my needs. The wire is flexible enough for numerous bends/angles, but sturdy enough for durability. The coating is easy to strip, the wire is easy to manipulate into a variety of connectors, and worked extremely well. I appreciated the various colors offered, too. Great product.

After wiring my boat 2 years ago with this stuff, I'm finding all kinds of electrical issues that always wind up being caused by this wire disintegrating at connections. It's not even saltwater causing the problem, and not overcapacity electrical.I'm ripping out all the wiring I've installed using this stuff because sooner or later it's going to fault.
