Save money on your project and buy the roll. It's way cheaper than by the foot at West Marine.Don't use the cheap stuff, it will corrode

Straight up, this is the best wire that I have ever seen. It is true copper that is tinned, and it has a pvc type coating that is tough and durable. I bought several sizes of it to assemble a solar power system in a camper that I will be using a lot in coastal environments where the atmospheric conditions are the same as a marine environment.It is pretty easy to work with. It is flexible but it is not wimpy, it really has the feel of well made materials. I have begun my testing and so far this wire is a champion. Very pleased.

Adding electric brakes to my trailer. This wire is perfect. Good insulation, flexible, tinned copper wire. I will buy Ancor wire when my next project calls for wire.

This is my favorite wire for anything I like to do once and do right. I have used this wire in several boat remodels and vehicles. The heat rating isn't as high as GXL or SXL automotive wire, but it's close.
