Ancor Nylon Double Crimp Butt connector is constructed specifically for the harsh marine environment. They are reliable and securely connect your boat's electrical system. Using butt-end connectors in connecting wires will give you a solid, long-lasting connection. Butt connectors join two wires or splices in a repair section after cutting out a damaged wire section. The tinned copper construction protects against corrosion and electrolysis while providing the most dependable conductivity. The Nylon insulators of this connector are easy to crimp and will not break. The seamless barrels tightly grip conveniently and the tinned copper is utilized for the conductor. It gives the least electrical resistance for the maximum current flow but the most corrosion protection. And, when considering the Ancor Nylon Double Crimp Buttt connector, you can attach it with a minimum of tools, even for beginners.

I have fallen for cheaper connectors in the past. Always regret going cheaper. I now always use ancor connectors. The tinning of the connector is better. Metallurgy of the connector is better. Crimp/back shell is superior to off brand connectors.

I cant say enough good things about Ancor marine products. Thats all I use unless its something thats just not available. It raised the cost of my boat rebuild but all the Ancor stuff is quality tinned copper even the connectors and the heat shrink with adhesive is the best. Ill probably where out the rest of the boat before I have to re wire anything. Its actually over kill because my boat sees nothing but fresh water.

Ancor is the only way to go with marine wiring! I did a full rewire on my boat with nothing but Ancor wire and connectors.

This is my 3rd or 4th order of Ancor products. They are awesome. The packages I received today were (2) pkg. 8 awg butt connectors. Qty. is 3/per pack but one package only has two. Not a big deal but really needed (6).
