By far the easiest marine wire to work with. I got Ancor wire in 4 gauge and 14/2. Both are excellent quality and quite flexible compared to other brands. I redid my boat with all Ancor. Very happy.

Ancor has been around. I've trusted it on multiple occasions. No need to second guess anything when i have this paired with BlueSeaSystems hardware. Accurate to use with thesr off-brand terminals/connectors I buy. Ive had some installed in a boat thats been running for 5 years and when i changed the lines out, they were still good. I just cut off a few inches here and there for cleaner wire. only as per USCG maintenance recommendations. Good stuff.

But you should know that before doing any electrical work. Stiff wire, good insulation and tinning. Should last a while before corroding

I am using this wire to extend solar panel output power to the controller for the system I built . The wire is fine quality and pulls through pvc conduit with ease . The conductor insulation strips fairly easily and the wire itself is fine stranded . A fine product for the cost . I will purchase more of it when I expand the system . THANK YOU ANCOR !

used anchor for many of conversions. highly recommend it. I like its flexibility more than cobra. for puck lights you can use lower grade wire but heavier than 5 amps i would use anchor . yt or ig daniel.messick

Ancor Marine wire is what you need for salt water. This wire is the best. Marine wire is larger diameter for any given gauge which keeps downriggers and pot pullers working correctly. This wire is tinned for corrosion protection. Most manufacturers use automotive wire which doesn't hold up well--the insulation is thin and gets nicked easily(even the prestige brands). Salt water gets inside and causes corrosion/breaks. This wire with a combination of outer covering and thick insulation holds up well in marine environments. Triplex is the way to go for boat trailers--one down each side. I just laugh at the Romex comments.......

I used the 14g and 12g duplex wire for wiring on my off-road rig. I live up in the northern U.S. Rockies and off-road a lot in the deserts across the southwest U.S. The arid terrain, UV exposure, and alternating deep cold and heat kept decomposing other wiring I have tried, especially on the roof rack lights and accessories. The quality of this wire is noticeably better than other automotive wiring I have used! Heavy duty outer jacket. The insulation on the inner wire is robust as well. Despite the heavy duty coverings, the wire lays out well. I am questioning the gauge on some of my prior wires as the strands on this Ancor wire seem beefier than the same grade of the auto wire used previously. All in all, a great product.

Product is as described. Redoing a pontoon boat and decided to give this brand a try. Will purchase more when needed from them. Comparable to more expensive suppliers at a budget friendly price.
