So many wires to choose from, I decided to go Ancor. While I paid more for this, I got a quality marine wire.I like the sheathing and the wire is a good for most of my lights. I ran about 15-20ft on my pontoon for led lights and aux uses that will use 5-10A max I might be pushing it a bit, but most of these will not be on at the same time.I'd recommend searching for a wire gauge chart and determine your load. The material is good strong tinned copper for marine use. This is the industry wire of choice and it says it on the jacket.I have used just copper and it corroded just over a year later. I had to soldered the joints and silicone juice the connector to keep the corrosion out. That was a lot of work, so I decided to pony up and get the real deal. I just chimp and go.I live in the Midwest with fresh water and all four seasons and still copper only corroded. For a boat, this is not where I will ever skimp on money, ever again.First time ANCOR buyer.
