Mission: Based on a strong belief that economic diversity is an important contributor to vital and livable communities, Andover Community Trust advocates for and develops homes that families can afford in Andover.

Results: ACT has built or renovated 7 single family scattered site permanently affordable homes. It is currently building 6 new permanently affordable units (3 duplexes). GLTS students have built 4 of the homes and are currently building 1 duplex providing job training to hundreds of carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC students.

Target demographics: low and moderate income hardworking families become homeowners in Andover, and GLTS student builders gain real-life experience and job training.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 125 students, 7 ACT families, 35 community members

Geographic areas served: Andover, Massachusetts, and Essex county

Programs: ACT home building, community wide assistance to affordable homeowners and tenants.
