Mission: Run entirely by volunteers, the Animal Coalition of Delaware County (ACDC) is a non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and finding loving homes for homeless animals. ACDC also works to educate the public regarding the necessity of spaying and neutering pets, as well as encouraging the humane treatment of companion animals throughout Delaware County, the Main Line, and the surrounding areas.
Results: Since 2004, the Animal Coalition of Delaware County has found homes for more than 1,300 animals.
Geographic areas served: Delaware County and surrounding areas
Programs: Animals (dogs, cats & rabbits) that were either found or turned over to our organization were taken in by foster parents. The animals benefitted from the donations made to the organization by receiving the vet care they needed before being adopted out to permanent homes.
