Causes: Animals, International, International Development

Mission: AKI raises funds for and donates supplies to our partner animal welfare organizations in poor countries so they can continue to improve the lives of animals. Through AKI, donors can be sure that 100% of their donations are going to help animals in poor countries.

Results: AKI has supported spay/neuter campaigns, emergency vet care, shelter maintenance, purchase of food and shelter supplies, vet and shelter staff salaries, infrastructure improvements-mainly new pens, quarantine kennels, & fencing, and other priority needs of our partner organizations. Rather than providing grants to undertake projects, we support our partner organizations' priority needs; without this support, many of our partner organizations would have to shut their doors.
