Mission: Crisis intervention and proactive care for owned pets in crisis.

Results: Since officially founded in 2008, The Animal Support Project (TASP) has kept thousands of companion animals safe, healthy and loved in their own homes instead of relinquished to shelters or euthanasia. TASP problem solves "outside the box, " bridging gaps in finance, training, logistics and education to deliver enduring solutions to conditions that endanger pets in their homes. Our all-volunteer, all-species servcie organization is building a more humane, more animal-savvy community, one pet at a time.

Direct beneficiaries per year: 345 pets

Geographic areas served: the Capital District of NY

Programs: veterinary services, food, preventives, training, transportation, grooming, fostering and rehoming if necessary for owned companion animals in crisis.
