My colt came back from the trainer with a slight, dry cough. No fever - no mucus. Just a little dry cough when he's eating. I tried a few different things including changing his feed - wetting down his feed and another product that did nothing. Been giving this for 10 days and while it has not stopped the cough completely, it has helped. I will continue to give it to him.

We have a pregnant mare with allergies that cause her to wheeze. Because she is pregnant, we could not give her any medication. I contacted the company and their vet told me I could give this to her for 30 days as long as it was more than a month before she foals. After a couple of weeks on it, her breathing is so much better! Even after the 30 days when we stopped giving it to her, her breathing is still so much better than it was. We put it on her food and she ate it down so she seems to like the taste (you can smell the ginger).

Our senior mare is 32 years old and had developed allergies; runny, matted eyes. Vet confirmed she had environmental allergies; pollen, flies, etc. Purchased this product not knowing if it worked. It did!! Made a huge difference! Will recommend and purchase again!

My horse and I have seasonal allergies. When she has a runny nose I know mine will be soon as well! This is recommended to be given 10 oz, 2 times a day to start. I believe for 10 days then reduce. Although I received my 20 oz can the next day. It is nice to be knowledgeable of the dosage and the contents of the jar to ensure that you are ordering enough the first time. Note: My girl knows that I place something different in with her grain but without fault she does consume the dosage.

We use this for our quarter horse that is allergic to biting bugs....mosquitos, no see us, biting flies..he get hives from them and this seems to calm the itching. We also use it with coat defense and the combo seems to really make a difference. Definitely buy this on a regular basis for him throughout the summer months

I have had great success with this product helping reduce overall histamines in my metabolic mare. Her eyes are also not reacting this spring/summer as they usually do, her breathing is very free, energy is up, weight/condition has improved and coat is incredibly shiny. This alongside EquaHolistics Healthy Gut and APF Pro 6mg a day has made a huge difference in my morgan mare's overall health and well-being. She doesn't seem to mind the taste. It may have taken a bit just to get used to something new but with the water added to her supps and mixed up well it seems to blend in fine. As a maintenance dose she gets it mixed in only 8 ounces of Organic Horse Supplement Pellets from Modesto Milling twice daily. Metabolic horses tend to have high histamine levels and I love her response so far and plan to continue using it daily.

My 7yr old gelding began to cough almost uncontrollably while eating and occasionally when at rest in the early spring. I tried this supplement hoping it was allergies and in less than a week he stopped coughing completely. He originally wouldn't touch his grain after I mixed this in, as it does have a strong smell. I started mixing it in with a couple tablespoons of molasses and he ate it just fine. It is costly, especially since there are only 20 doses. It takes a whole container to do the loading dose of twice daily for 10 days. I had my guy on it for about a month and I just stopped it. No coughing yet, hopefully the bad allergies are behind us for this year.

I used to use a prescription for Cochise's allergies, but was advised by friends at the barn about this product. It works and is much cheaper than the prescription.

I can always tell when my horses aren’t on this. Since the bad fires in our area a couple years ago their lungs just haven’t been the same and this makes all the difference!
