Product Description
Aquascape Sludge Cleaner contains 5 pure strains of concentrated heterotrophic beneficial bacteria. This combination of natural cleaners helps to maintain a strong biological balance in your pond while quickly cleaning between rocks, gravel and keeping filter pads from becoming quickly clogged. Because ornamental water gardens are enclosed ecosystems, sometimes factors like fish load, uneaten fish food, organics such as leaves, sludge and unwanted debris may disrupt the balance. Aquascape Sludge Cleaner maintains a strong biological balance; providing clean, clear and healthy water conditions.

| Add to the area of the pond with the most circulation or directly into the skimmer opening. Water temperature should be at least 60°F |
| One pump treats up to 100 gallons of water. |
| For dirty ponds or at the beginning of the season, Treat 2 times per week for the first 2 weeks |
| After initial treatment, use a maintenance dose of 1 pump per 100 gallons weekly for the remainder of the season. |

I use this product on top of the beneficial bacteria liquid. After a week of using this (2pumps per week for first two weeks), I can see the bottom of my pond. My water is always clear though, but I had slimy nasty sludge covered all those rocks. Now I can really see those natural brown rocks again. Also I notice that my filter box is cleaner too. Only problem is the pump head is not tight. It leaks all over your hard when using itwear gloves

I hate that the price has gone up so much, but this stuff really helps me keep the pond clear. I use it in conjunction with a monthly tab, but I don't clean it a bunch... at all. Poor fish are grateful I use this, for sure. I just pump about 6 pumps in weekly when I fill the pond again, and it clears it up pretty well. My only big complaint is the leakage. It says to shake it well, I think. Regardless, I shake it and blue droplets fly everywhere. I've learned to shake it over the pond and far away from my body and shoes. Anyway, it's worth trying if you're dealing with a hefty amount of sludge (in conjunction with a monthly tab).
