I installed this pump and filter on a pond that had a skimmer but no filter. In 3 days it went from green pea soup to completely clear.The fittings were hard to get on and once I did get them on one leaked but an added hose clamp fixed the issue.

I was very happy when I purchased this because I was hoping it would help clear my pond up. The tubing that came with it just barely fits the fixtures on the filter and the pump. The tubing hardly goes over one of the ridges in the fixture. I've clamped it tightly But it still pops off the pump. I think that if they're going to include the tubing that they should make sure it's going to fit. I find myself fixing this at least twice a week. I spend a lot for this item and don't think I'm getting back when I put in

If you buy this as the kit you get a more powerful pump in the kit then you would elsewise. It took myself and one other person a couple hours to assemble and connect this filter a couple months ago.It doesn't leak if you have a roll of teflon tape to place on the inside threads and stretch strong electrical tape to tape the outside of each connection. The pump is strong, turns over more than I need for my 3,000 gallon pond and produces a fast flowing waterfall. The UV lamp is strong and has done a good job with keeping my pond clearer. Flushing out the system is a breeze. No more opening the filter to clean sponges. I couldn't be anymore happier. Thank you Aquascape!

Worth every penny, buy the best and get the best! I've has pond in all three of my homes over the past 25 years. Pondscapes products are the saving you lots of money in long run while enjoying your beautiful pond.

Set this up today. Using the adapters with the filter and the pump I could not get the 1 1/2 hose on the filter. The seller added a water diverter that came with the adapters that could work. Guessing they must have known. Talk about going above and beyond for a customer.Thanks so much!I will be purchasing again.

I bought this kit figuring the parts were designed to work together. I have a 1000 gallon pond and this was very easy to set up. The most difficult part was getting the hose to fit over the fittings- it was cool outside so they were stiff, I tried boiling water that made them too soft. third time lucky with warm water! If I had one suggestion I wish they would include instructions for the whole kit- each part is separately packed with instructions so there is a lot of needless information to wade through since if you buy the kit you are likely using those components...

Fantastic filter to supplement my existing skimmer filter. Easy to setup and back flush to clean. It did develop leaks from the connections, but was easily resolved with pipe thread tape. Aquascape should provide a small tape along with all different types of fittings.

I was very happy when I purchased this because I was hoping it would help clear my pond up. The tubing that came with it just barely fits the fixtures on the filter and the pump.
