I would never have been able to install myself. Thankfully I have a capable boyfriend that was able to do it for me. According to him it wasn't that difficult, but to me it would have been impossible. I'm so happy it works. Florida has the worst hard water.

I purchased this APEC RO system for my previous house, and it worked very well, so when I moved, I bought another one.It is relatively easy to install. (Given that one must work under the sink and deal with water connections and such) Just go step-by-step and don't rush or take shortcuts. It comes with all the stuff you need to install. (You might need hollow wall anchors, depending on your installation spot.) The photo is immediately after installation with the filters installed on the side wall. (Later the tubing was secured out of the way.)The APEC RO system works very well, and the cartridges/filters are easy to change out (I changed them in my previous house. It helps to stick a note on the filters with the date they were changes)It does take up significant space under the sink, so depending on the size of the cabinet, there might not be a lot of under-the-sink storage left. (There is less room under my new sink, so I just store extra towels, dish soap, etc. elsewhere) If you have a lot of space and use a lot of water, you can easily add an additional storage tank.
