I bought this light to replace the original front light near the tongue jack on our camper. The original light had the switch corrode and fail due to water intrusion as the light faces forward and gets road wash during rains. The nice thing with this light was the ability to silicone calk-in the lens after installation as the LED light bulb will last basically forever with the limited use it will get over many years. To be clear, the light fixture is the same exact fixture that has been available for many years. The difference being that it contains an LED bulb rather than the old-school incandescent bulb that a fixture like this would've contained even just a few years ago thus giving it a far longer service life (if sealed) with brighter light.
