I was starting to work on my backstroke and needed help with speed to stay afloat. These are great training aids to keep you moving and allow concentration on arm cadence and form. I like they are stiff on both sides to really translate kicking force into distance. Some softer fins felt like they are easy to overpower with regular kicking to the point of feeling sloppy in comparison. Buying used made them much more affordable.

I wear 7.5 size shoe American women and this fits about right. Easy to get on in the water with a little leftover room. Doesn't feel like it will fall off. I bought it to correct my swimming leg strokes. Not sure it's that essential but of good quality and wanted to give a size reference.

I always wore Zoomers during kick sets, but that was way back when I used to actually swim. I bought these after making the questionable decision to get back in the pool and, following other users' advice, I got this size for my women's size 8 foot. They are a little tight. My Morton's toe bumps up against the front of the fin, but I know if I size up, it'll be too loose. The strap is snug and there's no drag or movement between foot and fin when I kick, so they're the right fit, but not the most comfortable fin. I'm definitely working harder in these than in Zoomers, but they move me more efficiently through the water. They're keepers.

These Arena fins are in Men's sizing. My fins in the photos are a USA 8-9, EU 40-41 which is a Women's 9-10 (Men's 8) in the United States. They're tight when you try them on dry, but perfect once you get in the water. I am a Medium width foot. I wear an Adidas tennis shoe in women's 10 and a 9.5 in any brand sandal. I'm a 10.5 Asics or Nike tennis shoe. They will fit an American woman size 9-10 or American man 7.5-8.5. I would size up if you're a women's 10-11. They've been worn for competitive USA Swimming training 6 days a week in a chlorine pool for a year with no fading, no deterioration of the rubber, and no stretching. I would buy these again! I had the Arena Tech Pros before I purchased these - these are slightly heavier than the Tech Pro - love them both. They are a thick, structured rubbery silicone material (not hard plastic). They are worth every penny for Arena quality. The pink is a fabulous HOT pink with the black Arena logo. They have not chipped or faded in a year!

Excellent fins although a little pricey.

The only concern is that these are a little bit heavy and at the beginning, it takes some time to get use to it. Other than that, it's a good gear for your swimming
