Nice box for TVs. I've installed a few of them. I've always installed them old work style. Arlington makes ALOT of quality items for electricians.

Works, no complaints, just a little pricey.

Great quality box - solidly built with steel and very sturdy, unlike the plastic boxes. Also, has different options for passing wires in on either side of the box and the attachment to drywall via the built in clips also works well.

Great products, looks good and easy to install. Would not hesitate to buy again.

The box itself is very nice and sturdy but wall plate is very fragile. It is too easy to break it when you screw it to the wall.

Product description is not accurate - this box is huge! If you are working in a tight space, do not purchase. If you don’t mind cutting a large hole in your dryway, this might be what you are looking for. Although it would be hidden behind a tv, I don’t like that there is no cover to hide the screws and give it a finished or clean look. I gave a low rating for poor Customer Service.

Used this before. Great for stereo installs

I used this box with a recent home theater upgrade I performed. With the Mantle Mount I purchased to hold the TV, I was able to install this box sideways within the mounting bracket, with a very minor filing of the edges of the face frame on two sides. This way, it should be virtually invisible in use. My only small complaint about the box is that it came with the plastic 34;Romex34; clamp already installed in one of the two electrical box knockouts. I needed to move it to the other side for my installation, and found that there was no knock out plug supplied in the kit. My previous purchases of larger Arlington boxes have come with the plastic plug needed to keep the installation code compliant. I was able to substitute a metal knockout plug, but I feel it should have been supplied or the clamp should not have been pre-installed, such that I needed to plug a hole in the first place. To be fair, it could be that the plug was just left out of the package by mistake. Regardless, I would definitely buy this box again, given how perfectly it suited my installation.

Went in easy and creates a nice finished look (even though its hidden behind the TV). The only issue I have is the cover plate is a non-standard size. I accidentally snapped it in half and thought I could run to a big box and replace it with a standard 2-Gang cover plate, which doesn't fit. I don't understand why the manufacturer chose a custom size for the cover plate. Makes a simple repair a little more involved.

Very useful behind TV's when you do not need a large back box for small components. I use a lot of these and having them available in black is a plus.

The box is well constructed, inexpensive, and simple to install. I used it to replace a standard 2-gang box left by the previous owners with coax and electricity both running through it, which is not in compliance with National Electric Code. This box meets the requirement to have communications and electrical cables separated by a divider in the same box.

Solid design and construction. Worked great for behind the wall mounted TV. No need to hit stud.

This is a great product, but it should be noted that it is deeper than a traditional electrical box.

This is a great way to connect a TV to its other components when mounting the TV on a wall. The TV can be removed without making all the disconnections.

Exactly what I was looking for and couldnt find locally. The things at the big box store nearby were close but not the same. I installed this on a plaster and lathe wall and the screws and mounting fins worked for me.
