As described and works well for purpose

Received a 2 pack instead of a 5 pack. Requested a replacement and...the replacement was also a 2 pack.

Hi:The only suggestion I have is to make them a bit stronger. They solved the problem I had.

These extenders are way too big for an electrical box. Don't waste your money.

These things are a life saver if you cut the Sheetrock around the box too much!

I really like the extenders thier helpful after adding on new drywall over old.

These solved the problem. They are a little thin, but did the trick.

I rarely review, but these were too nice not to. I have wainscot over drywall, and the electrical boxes are not even with the drywall, so my receptacle covers had a big gap between the receptacle and the cover. These beauties solved that problem with such ease. They are well made too, and come with screws. Such a win.

I used these to extend some outlets and switches because I added some stone veneer to my house. Easy to use and they worked great.

Do exactly what they are designed to do

Most of us don't realize when we need these sleeves. In fact, it's only been a few weeks since I learned I did.So, when do you need this? Well, if you have an outlet box that is inside a wall that is combustible, and that combustible material is exposed inside the outlet box... you definitely need this.In my case I discovered on YouTube that I definitely need these. I have a living room that is all board and batten wood on the walls. It's very elegant, but in each outlet box you can see approximately 3/4 of board exposed to the inside of the outlet (or wall) box. This is a fire hazard, and if you consider an arc in the box catching the exposed wood on fire you can appreciate the potential for disaster.Sometimes people will install sheet paneling (4x8') over the wallboard. The paneling may be 1/4 plywood, or possibly masonite. The installation now effectively has moved the outlet box 1/4. This leaves 1/4 of combustible plywood or masonite exposed to the inside of the outlet box, and again, increased the potential for an electrical fire.These sleeves are good quality, and very easy to install. What is NOT easy, is using the screws that previously held the receptacle to re-secure the receptacle to the box. Surprise! The maker of this sleeve has resolved that issue for you. They've taken it upon themselves to include extra long bolts just for this purpose. (For what it's worth, if you ever need to purchase these they are 6 x32tpi bolts, usually with a flat head slot.)Please check your home and make sure that if you need these, you purchase and install them. It's cheap enough, and you may be saving yourself from truly unnecessary grief. I did.

I got these since my smart dimmers didn't fit the box. They're tight fit with smart dimmers and in my case the cover plate won't flush with the wall, but I'm ok with that.
