Mission: The organization was incorporated in 1989 in the commonwealth of virginia as a nonstock, nonprofit corporation. Its purpose and mission is to enhance the arlington county community by developing, preserving and advocating for quality affordable housing in arlington, and to promote opportunity for our residents through partnerships and programs. The organization derives its revenue principally from rental revenue, development fees, grants, contributions and sponsorship of special events. As of december 31,2013, the organization sponsors 995 rental units located in arlington county. Approximately 80% of the rental units in the buildings described below are available for occupancy by residents and families whose income qualifies them for such affordable units. Fisher house - 33 unit, garden-style, four buildings, located in the westover neighborhood, purchased september 9,1991 and june 23,1995.Queens court - 39 unit, garden-style, three buildings, located in the rosslyn neighborhood,
