Mission: Our mission is to help children overcome trauma through creative expression. We envision a world where all children who have experienced trauma can turn pain into possibility.

Programs: Art with heart's purpose is to bring the healing power of creative expression to kids facing trauma or adversity. We envision a world where all kids who have experienced suffering will have the creative tools, resources, and support to turn pain into possibility. Art with heart creates therapeutic activity books for kids and companion curricula for adults. The organization also leads in-person and online trainings where we empower practitioners working with kids to use the curricula so they can confidently lead creative expression programs with the kids they serve. Through individual donations, corporate and foundation grants, and in-kind donations, art with heart is able to supplement the high costs of producing quality curricula so we can offer supportive services to other youth-serving nonprofits, schools, and hospitals at a fraction of the cost. We continue to develop new programming and resources that help kids develop the coping skills that will service them today, and for the rest of their lives. In order to reach the greatest number of kids, we completed our suite of companion curricula in 2017 and have trained hundreds of practitioners working with kids by expanding how we deliver training. Art with heart now trains youth-serving adjults in ways that meet them where they are - in-person multi-day training, to half day intensives, to live webinars for organizations with practitioners located around the country. Finally, we launched a new website for the online learning community that is designed to serve as a resource for practioners with educational content that spans program instructioon to skill building videos to testimonials from other experts in the field of mental health and eduation. All of these micro-learning videos are in service of supporting the countless youth-serving adults working with kids facing trauma or adversity. In addition to the monetary activity reported on this 990, in kind donations of services and materials accounted for $26,148, helping to reduce or avoid additional costs. Www. Artwithheart. Org
