Best rice I've ever eaten, healthy unpolished, whole grain! Delicious by itself! A slightly nutty, earthy flavor. I will never eat white or brown again. I cook it 1 part (cup) rice to 2.5 parts (cups) water...2 tbsp. EVOO, boil, then cover and simmer 25 mins. the grains split and are perfect.

Watching 177 Milk Street making Indian dishes. One of the chefs remarked that in India, vindaloo is served with red rice, which is not commonly found in the US. It carried a forlorn note as she described red rice as more flavorful and healthier than white rice. I ordered Asian Best Premium Red Rice, cooked a batch in my Instapot. My wife and I will not be returning to white rice anytime soon. Quality product!

Looked great under sliced pork tenderloin with wild mushroom sauce. Tasted great as it was made with chicken stock and garlic. Nice texture, just the right amount of chewiness over plain white rice.

This rice won't even cook after putting it in pressure cooker for 30 mins. Not sure if the issue is with my particular bag or overall rice quality.

I've tried several dif kinds of red rice and this is by far the best quality. The flavor is wonderful and it didn't have a bunch of white ones that didn't look ripe like every other brand I tried. It arrived nicely vac sealed and very fresh looking. And as an added bonus, the price was great too! win-win! yay!

I didn't want 5lbs because I live in a small apt. This 2lb bag comes super vacuum-sealed in a thick bag--it's like a brick and stores well. Then when you ope it fits in a gallon ziplock or a glass storage jar (go for air tight) and it is yummy!
