These are pretty thin, but they work great as place mats. They seem to insulate from heat, and they protect my wood table top from liquids. I like that you can see the wood through the white ones (hazily). It makes them relatively unobtrusive, unlike patterned place mats.

I use these on my craft table when I work with anything sticky. From glue to epoxy and they are great!

Got a set in black for our white table. Looks better than warn alphabet ones we had for the kids. Wasn’t sure I’d like material, but lays nice and looks new after several months.

I have Corelle dishes and they tend to slide around on my table, but these mats keep them in place and can take a lot of heat.

We rate these place mats #1 they don’t slip around on our bar top and spills stay on top so they would do well on our rosewood table too. We are in our eighties so there are spills and we had been looking for something that met our needs and these do.

Sort of thin and flimsy. My twin girls can easily move them unless you make the surface wet underneath them but all of the edges don't lie flat on the surface so they can get their little fingers under there and lift them up. The red is not as dark as the photos show in the description, it's much lighter and brighter. These will be ok, not super happy but not really worth it returning them since they were only 10.00.

They are certainly non-slip. One could use them to open stubborn jar lids. They will serve the purpose.

There was an initial issue with the color I ordered being out of stock but they contacted me rather quickly and we worked it out. They are a little thinner than I expected but other than that I love them.

Perfect--exactly what I've been searching for. Almost clear in color with a frosty look. Great to use on kitchen floor for our cats food bowls. Mats and bowls do not slip around. Cats make a mess with their food and these mats make clean up quick and easy.

I have these in our kitchen on granite counters to help protect dishes and glasses. Granite is so hard that sometimes just placing a plate on the counter will cause it to break. These are perfect for my needs. These give a little cushion and are easy to clean. I just rinse them off in the sink and dry. I also have one in my refrigerator where I place meats or other items. If anything leaks it's so much easier to just take this mat and clean than to clean the shelves of a refrigerator.

These were very nice a little costly but well worth it makes clean up so much easier also looks great on a white tablecloth, I had ordered some from e-bay that were from China which I never did get so now I won't order anything that comes from China.

I have an antique wood dining room table and use cloth placemats on it. I found that hot plates will leave a white mark on the tables surface so purchased these non-slip silicone mats to protect it and it works great. They are thin so they aren't even noticeable under the cloth placemats. They are a true red and very nice.

Problem free placemats. Unlike plastic placemats,they are easy to wash in sink or dishwasher. Very flexible and soft. They are totally smooth with no intricate patterns that trap food. Very plain however.
