It cuts right through the ice cream making it so easy to serve without using much strength to dish up

Old-fashioned ice cream scoop takes me back to being a little kid. Easier to get ice cream out of the container than the other versions, I think. We hand wash this but it only takes a few seconds.

I have had one of these for over 30 years and it is still in use. I have ordered another one for myself and then some for my grown children. I hope it lasts for them as long as mine has.

I bought one of these on Amazon recently. It was flimsy and $9 plus shipping. It broke within a month. I found Opentip by accident and couldn't resist the low cost so I bought 3. The quality is amazing. Very solid piece, better than my old one that I lost at a potluck years ago. Shipped quick.

I had one like this 20+ yrs. ago and lost it when moving. Saw a lady on FB cooking with one like I used to have.(making gravy). Loved this spoon, but never knew it was called a ice cream spoon. I brought 2, one for me and one for my daughter...

I received one of these ice cream spades for a wedding shower gift 46 years ago. I wanted to have one on hand and this product is exactly like the original! Well built, solid, so it will last a lifetime! Loved the price!

We bough two of these "spade type" ice cream spoons. This spoon works great on well hardened ice cream. Works even better on softer types. The spade design allows thinner sections of ice cream, better for packing the ice cream dish/bowl. They're made very well, stainless steel, thick metal, riveted wooden handles. The handle fits well in your hand, and doesn't "dig into your hand" while pushing into/through the ice cream. We like this design/quality spoon very much. I like it better then the "scoop" we have.
